The elastic for the bottom sheet is too loose... and I have a thick mattress. I constantly have to pull the sheet down and tuck it between the mattress and box springs.Edit: Decided to contact the company regarding the loose elastic and they immediately shipped me a new bottom sheet.These are the thickest, softest, nicest sheets I've ever purchased...cotton, bamboo or silk. I will definitely be purchasing them for my kids' beds too. Also, the color selection is unmatched by any other company I've seen.5 very enthusiastic stars!!!I live in south Texas and it’s a sweat box from April to November so I struggle to sleep well. I have an expensive cooling gel over innerspring style mattress and 2 fans and yet, I wake up sweating. My main issue with sheets is that they pill, or they are hot. I have had this bottom sheet (I don’t use top sheet, just thin quilt) for a month and so far it’s been great. I wash it carefully according to instructions, always by itself with light amount of detergent then air dry it and tumble it briefly before I put it on. The surface feel cool to the touch when I first get in bed and it seems to allow me to feel the coolness of my gel bed with out obstructing it which was important to me. I did not need the deep pockets type though my mattress is 13” deep so that’s something to consider, my sheet sags a bit around the edges but I tuck it under and it’s fine. I strongly recommend trying this if you have issues with over heating at bedtime. For me it is the last sheet I will buy until it wears out and I would repurchase it if it survives 1 year.After 1 year: sheet ripped down by the feet, 1 year is a decent longevity but I expected more. They appear to be very thin in spots, so they barely made it to 1 year from purchase date. I frequently have this issue with sheets.I've been sleeping on bamboo sheets for over 7 years and will never go back to cotton. These are the best sheets so far. They are 600 thread count...so stronger than others that are mostly 300 to 400 ct. bamboo. They need to be washed in cold water since they are slightly more delicate than other sheets but you can't notice it...other than the crazy amounts of softness (as compared to cotton). I haven't had much trouble with overall wear of bamboo and no trouble on this set. I bought them for our son as well. He loves them too. They're only heavy when they're wet...moving from washer to dryer. This is because bamboo absorbs moisture much better than cotton. Bamboo is also anti-fungal...so great for warmer climates. They are much cooler to sleep on than most any other sheet out there. My husband doesn't like to get hot and says these sheets are awesome at keeping him cooler. My son is the same way. I put a little ammonia in the bleach area, when I wash them, since they aren't supposed to be washed in hot water and some directions say to put them on a delicate cycle. These really are the most amazing sheets we have ever used. No more cotton with GMO super bugs making us itch! Bamboo is cleaner and more natural now. Some that say bamboo are part polyester and this makes them hotter. True bamboo is the only way to go.I really like the feel of these pillowcases however I received in a package of two pillowcases what appears to be one standard size and one king size. One is about 6-8 inches longer than the other.Update to my original review. The seller contacted me and sent me another package of king size pillowcases-both are the same size. Very pleased with the product and the action taken by the seller to address my issue.I didn't understand all the hype about bamboo sheets until I bought a set for my cal king sized bed. The promise is that bamboo sheets stay cool even when you lie on them. That claim is true. The bed sheets and pillow cases do stay at the same temp without heating up when you lie on them. So perfect for those uncomfortably warm Summer nights.I wondered whether sheets with such a claim could also be quality made sheets. I think I was more delighted with the superior quality of the fabric, the elasticized edging and how well the sheets fit a deep mattress. A perfect combination, more than worth the price. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.I bought these 9 months ago and loved them. I wanted good quality bamboo rayon that wasn't a polyester blend and the blue was perfect. They were soft and thick and felt great. The care directions do specify not to use high heat in the dryer, and I never do. I was very careful at first to pull out the set still damp, but it's hard for me to organize my life around timing delicate laundry. And the result is the sheets have shrunk several inches in width despite the gentile dryer setting, to the point I can barely get the bottom sheet on anymore. I would only buy again if I was certain I could line-dry these every time.This was a little pricier than the other options I was looking at, but I finally got one and loved it so much I am buying a second so that I never have to sleep on the other fitted sheet I don't love as much while this one is in the wash!So smooth, St first we did notice that The sheets were sorta cooling at the touch but after a while we didn't really notice it too much. I do Enjoy the weight of these. I haven't washed them yet but I like that they make me feel comfortably tucked in since I like heavier sheets on me when i sleep. I plan to buy more in the very near future as they seem thick enough that they should hold up for several years. They seems crisp yet are very soft and silky to the touch.
