I love this Almay shadow trio and was happy to find it at a good price. However, they came in a "padded paper" package with no other cushioning around them and the shadow in both of them was cracked and broken. I should have probably known not to order eye-shadow online, but they should have known NOT TO SELL IT ONLINE IF THEY CAN'T PROTECT IT PROPERLY DURING SHIPPING! I wish they would try it again!Almay products are good and affordable, no doubt about it. But this particular shadow, in this shade (for hazel eyes) is PERFECT for my skin tone, eye color, etc. And it wears fairly well (meaning through most of the day). Was happy to find it online, as I could no longer find it in stores.Nice colors, good price, fast shippingApplication wise,very smooth and the colors are beautiful. But I thought it was green toned it's more of a brown. Good for the money tho and brand name.This eyeshadow goes on smoothly & easily with either the curved applicator or an eye makeup brush, doesn’t get cakey or icky in annoying ways that can happen to those of us at a “midlife-plus/upwardly-midlife” age. An age where we’re hopefully able to look in the mirror and say “Self, I hereby ban you from leaving the house until you wipe that off your face. Ya look like a ghoul. Face it: You’re too old to be a goth, or whatever you’d call that “look” or, “self, ya look pretty okay for a “mature lady”. Cleared to leave house.”This one passes. Learn to use the subtle shades correctly (YouTube has some fantastic makeup vids that combine makeup lessons with all sorts of other subjects to keep it interesting!)This palette really does enhance hazel eyes, which can be tricky. Highly recommend!Uncomfortable packaging design. Side opening is strange. Product is okay.I have used various shades of this terrific product for a long time, but this particular trio subtly accents my hazel green eyes with a golden shimmer like nothing I’ve used before. Always easy to apply, these eye shadows are a staple of my meet-the-world look for any occasion.This is probably one of the best eye shadows for blue eyes! I don’t use a ton of makeup so just having a few colors in the pallet is perfect! I don’t want to buy a big pallet for only a few colors so this this is great!! Couldn’t be happier :)Very pleased with this eye shadow as I have started to have very sensitive eyes and this eye shadow looks good and doesn't make my eyes water . I will say a friend of mine told me about almay years ago,that almays very good for people with people with sensitive skin.
