It grows fast and the cats love it.Picked up this kit for my tortoise habitat to add some living greenery to it. The grass sprouted fast and is growing nicely. I didn't use the whole bag of seeds. Seemed overkill for the little tub that comes in the kit. I'll be saving them for a second growing.Ordered this because SmartyKat wasn't available at local stores and Amazon charges double the price. Pureness grass took twice as long to germinate, and my cats weren't fond of it. Worth the money if your cat likes it.I actually split up the seeds bc the bowl it comes in is too small. Literally germinates and is ready for kitty in about 5 days. Will continue to buy!I’m thankful this was so so soEasy to grow. You add ring. It kfnresddf jazzAnd POOF it’s full grown. My impatient cats couldn’t wait for it to sprout an entire forest, any did away with it with only 20 or so sprouts. It did grow super fast!! Within 3 day I had sprouts, at day 7-8No hiI followed the instructions and saw some long sprouts, so I decided it time to move it into some sunlight! Before I did, I did bury some of the seeds that were sitting on the top (along with other ones I saw lying on their sides) deeper into the soil and had them sit upright as some of the sprouts had grown sideways.Within days of sitting by my window shutters, which I kept slotted open about 1/4 or a bit more open, it started growing like crazy!! Honestly, it is so full and the soil has expanded that it even needs to be repotted; I could see it growing even more if I do this. It is seriously more lush than my backyard lawn. I did make sure to water it every 2 to 3 days, which I think helped it grow quite a bit.While the product itself is perfect, my overly picky cat won't even acknowledge it, of course! I had hoped to get this to help her diet; she has a sensitive stomach and is indoor only (even though I have never had a cat not like grass or plants, despite all my three previous babies being indoors their entire lives).. but like most things, she is too good and picky to try it out or care about it! At the price I doubted if it would grow well, especially with mixed reviews, but I am happy with it.. amazed really (even though I have no real use for it!). I'm letting my sister try it on her cats or will give it to my best friend if it turns my sister's cats want to be picky too.For the price, I say give it a try! Just keep it somewhere it can get some sunlight at some point in the day and make sure to water it.I bought this product several times from a different supplier. It always grew just like the images, thick and lush. However, when the supplier changed, the product was not the same (see image). I'm disappointed. Looking for something better.I have used another type of grass with success, but I can't find it anymore, so I tried this one. It called for an ungodly amount of water...so I added much less with success. My 2 boys ( ages 12 and 8) didn't touch it for about a week. But now they graze on it. I probably would buy it again, if I can't find the one I usually buy.Waste of money as never grew properlyThere are lots of seeds in the package so you can have at least a half dozen "servings"from one kit. I start the seeds in a small pot and place it, loosely covered, in a dark area for nearly two days. When the seeds begin to sprout I place the pot in a bright sunny area, and after a day or two the pot is filled with long, lush, tender green shoots of grass. You can literally see the difference in growth throughout the course of a day. It watched my cat take to it immediately. I will continue to grow this for my cat, as she loves it and it is beneficial to her health.i folllowed the instructions and it took longer than suggersyed for the grass to sprout. water it as per instructions but much became mouldy ...i hope it was just a bad batchItem was smashed during delivery. Used seeds anyway but pot was smashed and earth was spilled all over.Easy to grow and comes with everything u need
