I thought these would be stretchy enough to fit my larger frame. They are NOT. They feel cheap, they do t stretch, and I'm sorely disappointed.Fit comfortable and as expected for an XL in waist (33"), hip (43") and thigh. Lightweight, comfortable stretch denim retains shape, doesn't stretch out and become baggy by the end of the day. Faux zipper and faux pockets in front means no bulk at the front or sides of waist. Rise is 10 inches, sits just below belly button. Waist is a 1 inch wide elastic band that will occasionally roll/fold over if you're sitting. Real back pockets are perfect for carrying cell phone and keys, while also adding a more shaped look to the rear end. The ink wash color is a brighter blue than regular denim, I'd call the shade as being between cobalt and navy. It's nice to have a pair of jeans that are a little different / darker in color without buying black. They are great with high boots as the material is thinner than regular denim, so no trouble zipping boots right up to the knee. They also look great with sandals, flats, or pumps. The inseam on this pair is 30" which is too long for me, but I've been folding the cuff up by about 2.5 inches on the inside - they're snug enough on the ankle that they stay folded up all day. (FYI, they also make a capri length with a 26" inseam.) I have several other pairs of Hue Denim Leggings, and as was the case with them, I'm happy with my purchase. It is very likely that I will buy another pair/different color. I highly recommend these to others for the comfort, fit, style, and the selection of colors.I own 3 other pairs of Hue Leggings in Medium. I'm 5'3" and 130lbs. My other Hue leggings in Medium fit perfectly. Different styles (fleece lined, essential denim). The pair I received on this order had an extremely tight waist band with very little stretch, the fabric was stiff, I couldn't even get them over my knees. The packaging was different from other pairs I'd received, more like tights off a rack. I love Hue Leggings, so I purchased direct from Hue to replace these. The picture shows the the cast iron wash is black, but it is a light-medium grey color. It stretches over time throughout the day. It’s not bad, but not worth the $41.00. In my opinion they are overpriced. I got these bc the last pair I got was made of very cheap material. These aren’t bad, they just aren’t the right color and refinery not worth $41.00. They ar worth half the price.Based on the measurements of these Jean leggings the XXL should have been loose on me. They run super small. These are so super tight. I had already taken tags off so I can’t return them. I wore them last night but they were so tight all night. I don’t have large calves or legs, but I had to peel these off of me. I probably will not buy another pair unless they have a size larger than XXL. I normally wear a size 18 in women’s pants (Torrid)I really like these-- they're super comfy. I usually take a medium in HUE, but had to reorder in a large (I am a size 10 in pants, 5'10"). They are the perfect length, and very soft. However, the material seems to attract more lint, dog hair, and other fuzz than most fabrics. I wish the opening of the pant leg were just a tad smaller, and for the price I think they could be higher quality. I decided to keep them while I shop to replace a pair of Hudson jeans that I haven't been able to find anywhere, but these are more of a back-up than a new fave. I haven't washed them yet, so i dunno how that will go.This is a GREAT color and comfortable. I bought a similar one from Bloomingdales, color Moonlight that was worn out and needed to be replaced. Amongst the 2, I prefer the Hue I bought from Bloomingdales for 2 reasons: (1) the fabric on the inside is more comfortable and (2) there's no button at the belt level that protrude to the outside therefore it keeps it smooth when you wear it with a tank top. I understand that they added the button to emulate a real jeans, but I prefer it without it especially that I usually don't tuck in shirts. It's still a great buy, and much more comfortable than real jeans which I can't no longer wear after finding out about Hue jeggings. Not my favorite. My size is rapidly changing postpartum and post-long-term illness so basically if I invest in normal jeans, they fall off within a month. While that's great to be healing, not so great for keeping pants on while chasing children. So I've been devoted to Hue Jeggings just because of all the jeans and leggings - they stay up. After six pairs, I know the sizing pretty well but these super smooth ones threw me for a loop. I have no bottom, average to minimal hips, carry my weight in my tummy area. These super smooth had NO room in the bottom and felt like they were going to fall down compared to the essential denim ones and another model I purchased at a department store. Also the rise was so low, it didn't even come up to my tummy. Maybe the ones I got were a fluke but fair warning, if you have any bottom at all (or even if you don't) you might want to size up in this model.I LOVE LOVE Love these leggings. I have purchased and repurchased and am devastated that both Amazon and Amazon UK are out of my size (large) with no sign of the product becoming available again :( I am onto my 5th or 6th pair. I find it hard to get good fitting jean leggings that don't give muffin top or roll down and these were perfect. They are so comfortable and perfect for casual wear, work and nights out. They are very flattering and look like a real jean due to pockets even though they have a faux fly. They are fantastic quality and I wear them day in day out. I have yet to find a better legging :(These were my 5th pair Hue denim leggings and of great quality as usual. I’ve just ordered another pair of the black!Good qualityI just reordered in size XLL to get the size I need-- but I alway wear HUE Women Large size. I am 5'5" tall, curvy and 170 and have zero troubles in women's normal size Large for weights around 140-180 pounds. But this large fits a Medium and I had to keep it taking it out of it's package, etc. So I just reordered because they are the BEST, so nice, smooth as they say, not shinny but deep blue I got and loved them. I ordered the HUE women ultra soft fleece lined leggings in both colors and they fit perfect size Large. Awesome for winter wear. The Super Smooth is nice for winter for me, spring and fall in the north Canada, perfect. Too thick for summer. I would say the sizing sucks, I never take a XLL!!!! They both are worth the money for winter, one for dress and one for outside using the lined leggings in fleece for winter warmth in snow. The legs are long to cover my ankles and definitely not bulk in Winter boots. Excellent Hue Leggings. horrible sizing!!!These are made very very tiny, basically child-like. And I can say that because I am a tiny 5"0, 100lbs, and I had difficulty getting into them. My hope is that they can stretch more after wearing them. I also am disappointed that these are not of a soft material, but are rather stiff like regular jeans. Although well made, these aren't what I was looking for, so I will not be ordering these again and that is why I have given only 2 stars.
