Who are these people who say anti-aging stuff works? How the hell would you know if it worked, unless you've been using it for over five years on only one half of your face and have determined that the other half is aging faster? Because it's not like there is a topical product on the market that reverses the aging process. And it's not like I would notice after five days of using this stuff that I've stopped aging (that's how long I've been using it).I appreciate this stuff because it contains only ingredients that have been proven in studies to actually do something, unlike all the other crap cosmetic companies sell you, and it doesn't include the stuff that makes your skin extra sensitive to sunburns even though that was also proven to work in studies (thank you, I'm very pale). Also, it says it's made to order, which lends the illusion that the stuff in it hasn't denatured to the point of uselessness yet... though again, who knows if that's true, it's not like you can actually tell if an anti-aging product is working. Vitamin C especially has a short half life.It does dry your skin out, because it emulsifies out your natural oils and then quickly evaporates. That works for me because my skin tends to run oily anyway, so it's cool if I dry it out at night and then moisturize it in the morning. I'm starting to wonder though, if the real reason anti-aging stuff works is just because it dries your skin so much that you don't feel comfortable moving your face in natural facial expressions so it's like botox. Anyway, you could also mix it with moisturizer or follow it up with moisturizer, if you wanted to.
