Boots are true to calf circumference description!!! Shoe box is narrow and suggest ordering up a width for comfort.I have heavy legs and it is very hard to find a pair of boots that fit. This is the second pair of David Tate boots I have had. The first were still in good condition but my shoe size is larger and I needed a new pair.These fit the bill -a bit tight in the leg - but hope they will stretch a little. I was able to pull the zipper all the way up.I love David Tate shoes. These are great quality leather and they look great on my feet and they are so comfortable. I would definitely recommend these boots.They are worth every every cent I paid for them.It's a well made boots but too large for me so I had to return it. If you have oversized calves, these would be for you. Bravo to this company for making these boots for the not so skinny women population.This boot is very well made and true to size.Calf circumference too wideThe calf is gigantic. I have a 17.5" calf at the widest part and wear a size 10. The shaft on this boot was so enormous, it was comical. I had to send them back.The calf's were way to big I mean big. Nothing like the picture. If they would give the calf size that wold cut down on returns.
