The story chronicles the lives of three generations of one family, from Pre-Civil War, through the Great Depression, and World War II. The author, Glyndon E. Green, is a member of the fourth generation of the Green's from Harmon's Lick. The book was compiled from stories and conversations shared with friends and families over a period of 50+ years.
