These shorts are cute. My daughter has thicker thighs and these are stretchy. Our only complaint is that they are short! However they are described as being short so I knew this when I bought them yet bought them anyway. If you don't mind very short shorts then they are good.So I wish I had read the description better or I wouldn’t have ordered these. I didn’t realize they were shorty shorts, and when I say shorty they look like underwear just in jean material. My 10 year old will NOT be wearing these and I will be returning as soon as possible. I understand short shorts but these are too short for a little girl.Ordered these in different colors for my daughters to go to school in. Yeah, not happening! Way to short for school but fine for around the house.Comfy and stretchy put look even shorter when my daughter wears them. Still one of her fav pairs but no wearing them to schoolShorts looked exactly as pictured. However they were noticeably smaller than what I am used to getting in a "Big Girls" size 12 and my daughter is small for 15 years old. With this said I must say, the return process has been quick and stress free! Pleased with overall experience so far. I will update this review if issues arise.I bought these based on reviews that they were too tight and too short, because my daughter complains that her shorts are not "fitted" enough and they are too baggy. I felt for sure these would be to her liking. She is 9, weighs 58 pounds, and is 4'6". These shorts are definitely longer than I expected and completely cover her rear, and they are also very loose around the legs. I got her a size 8. Another fail in the shorts department. I guess these are too short and tight for some, but for us they were too long and loose! Can't win.These shorts were bought to wear for school. When these shorts arrived I found them to be way too short. Schools obviously have a dress code and these are not within it. If I knew they were that short I'd definitely wouldn't have purchased themThey fit as expected...true to size. They are cute! It's just unfortunate that girls shorts are so short these days!!
