Almay Intense i-Color Smoky Green Eyeshadow Palette for Evening Makeup - Perfect for Date Night, Parties & Special Occasions

I ordered 2 of the eyeshadow trio. When they arrived, one of the sections had a broken area so some of the white eye shadow was on top of the lavender. It is not really a problem for me because I only order the trio for one color, which was not broken. The other was fine.Wore for the first time today. Colors are flattering and lasts for hours. Highly recommend.My reason for appreciating Almay is the beautiful colors that stay on like the one above, the price is affordable, Almay is nice to my skin, and no animal testing!Color is great! Applicator tip not so much! First use the tip actually fell apart! It crumbled into tiny pieces!I would buy again just because of color combo & product itself.I have been buying this particular product for several years. I have bought it twice through Amazon, all other times I purchased was to be a Walgreens/CVS/etc...Most recently I purchased this exact same item through Amazon, in the first couple of times I used it I actually thought that it might be counterfeit. The main color (gray) has crumbled and fallen away within four or five uses. I've never encountered this issue with prior times I purchased this.I would have returned it however, I waited a couple of weeks to even open it, and so I missed the window for a return. I'm just surprised because normally Almay makes eyeshadows that are excellent products.Things that make you go "Hmmmm..."The Almay products work well on my sensitive eyes and skin, but the shadows are too shimmery for my mature eyes.This has obviously been around a while (package partially unglued/discolored) but stores just don't seem to carry this color combo anymore, at least near me, so I gave it a try. I sincerely hate the curved applicator-no control. Product doesn't seem to go on or blend smoothly even with a standard applicator I had to buy seperately; however, it doesn't crease. I've used it twice and my left eye became irritated both times. Cannot return so I'm throwing it out.It was not wrapped, and the powder was brokenI have only tried this with an eye shadow primer underneath but it's fine...doesn't flake or fall and lasts well. I was a fan of Almay products so it's such a shame they're so difficult to source now in the UK!Fast postage, thank you. I have very sensitive eyes & can't wear other makes of eye shadow.
